The USB 3.0 self-assemblable DIY connector plug-kits (shells) are designed for easy and quick customization of USB 3.0 cables to desired lengths and configurations. The plug-kit (shell) includes a plug housing, top and bottom plug shells, top and bottom connector cover, USB3 Vision compliant locking and crews and a connector cover ring. Micro B comes with USB3 Vision compliant locking screws. Instructions for self-assembly are available. Assembly Instruction: 1. Solder the connector to the cable end. 2. Place the connector into the bottom cover 3. Close the top cover into the bottom cover, make sure the interior latch is properly clicked. Self-assembly instruction is available upon request.
